This role involves assisting in the configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls. The Junior Network Engineer will help diagnose and resolve network issues, support network security measures, and participate in routine performance checks and documentation. The role also includes collaborating with senior engineers, responding to user-reported connectivity problems, and contributing to network improvement projects under guidance.Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Network Administration and Network Engineering to support day-to-day network operations and infrastructure management.Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting to identify, analyze, and resolve connectivity and performance issues efficiently.Candidates should possess skills in Network Security to assist in implementing security policies, monitoring threats, and maintaining secure access controls.Candidates should possess skills in Network Design to help support basic planning and implementation of network layouts and upgrades.Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (diploma or bachelor’s degree) is preferred.Familiarity with common networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS) and basic knowledge of routing and switching concepts is beneficial.Industry certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or equivalent entry-level credentials are an advantage.Strong analytical skills, clear communication, and the ability to learn quickly in a collaborative team environment are important.
