Gear–up.me team is expanding and we are looking for a passionate Junior PC Builder and RMA Specialist to join our sales team. (We are NOT looking for in-house IT support!). The Junior PC Builder and RMA Specialist responsibilities include building customized PC machines, preparing quotes for PC builds, continuously updating our online catalogue of PC builds and workstations, managing RMA procedures, helping customers to troubleshoot their issues and supporting customers with technical knowledge.To be successful as a Junior PC Builder and RMA Specialist you should be an inspired self-starter and able to listen to customers' needs and support them with your knowledge. Ultimately, a top-notch PC Builder and RMA Specialist should be creative and innovative in the field of IT products, able to build rapport with customers and support them with passion and dedication to resolve their problems.Junior PC Builder and RMA Specialist Responsibilities:PC Building & ConfigurationAssemble custom-built PCs and workstations based on customer requirements.Ensure proper cable management, airflow, and system stability during assembly.Perform hardware and software testing to ensure optimal system performance.Keep up to date with the latest hardware trends, compatibility, and performance best practices.Pre-Sales SupportAssist in preparing customized PC build quotations for customers.Provide recommendations for components based on client needs and budget.Collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate and timely responses to inquiries.Catalogue ManagementUpdate and maintain the online portfolio of PC builds and workstations.Monitor component availability and revise configurations as needed.Coordinate with the marketing and product teams to highlight best-selling or high-performance systems.RMA & TroubleshootingManage the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process, from initiation to resolution.Diagnose hardware-related issues and determine whether repair, replacement, or return is needed.Communicate with suppliers and vendors to coordinate RMA requests.Keep accurate logs of all RMA cases and resolutions.Customer SupportSupport customers with post-sales technical assistance via phone, email, or in person.Help troubleshoot PC-related issues and guide users through fixes or service options.Build strong rapport with customers by demonstrating patience, technical expertise, and dedication.Continuous ImprovementStay updated on IT hardware innovations and trends.Provide feedback on common customer issues to help improve product offerings and support processes.Participate in internal product and technical training sessions.Requirements – Junior PC Builder and RMA SpecialistEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum 2–3 years of work experience in the UAE market, preferably in a similar technical or customer-facing role.Technical SkillsBasic to intermediate knowledge of PC hardware, components, and peripherals.Comfortable assembling, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop PCs.Understanding of IT equipment such as motherboards, CPUs, RAM, GPUs, SSDs, and power supplies.Familiarity with diagnosing common hardware/software issues and handling warranty/RMA procedures.Customer Service & CommunicationFluent English (spoken and written) is required; an additional language is a plus.Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially in explaining technical issues clearly to non-technical customers.Strong written and verbal communication abilities.Confident phone and in-person communicator with a problem-solving mindset.Work Ethic & PersonalityOutgoing, enthusiastic, and proactive personality with a passion for IT and technology.Independent, self-motivated, and capable of managing tasks with minimal supervision.Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality technical support and service.Tools & SystemsProficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook).Experience using CRM systems or ticketing platforms is an advantage.Other RequirementsValid UAE driving license preferred.Willingness to occasionally assist with on-site hardware installation or pickup/delivery coordination.What we offer:Position in a growing company where everybody is expected to deliver on their targets.
