Junior Photographer

Job PurposeThe Junior Photographer is responsible for capturing high-quality visual content that documents and showcases IECC's programs, events, startup journeys, innovation activities, partnerships, and community engagement initiatives. The role supports the Marketing & Communications team by producing compelling visual assets that strengthen IECC's brand identity, communicate organizational impact, and enhance digital engagement across multiple platforms.Major ResponsibilitiesCapture professional photographs for IECC events, workshops, startup programs, competitions, training sessions, and official activities.Produce high-quality visual content that reflects IECC's brand identity and communication objectives.Photograph entrepreneurs, startups, mentors, speakers, partners, and participants while ensuring professional presentation.Edit and retouch photographs using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop while maintaining image quality and consistency.Organize, archive, and manage digital photo assets using standardized naming and storage practices.Ensure photography equipment is maintained and prepared before events and field assignments.Capture behind-the-scenes content and storytelling moments for digital platforms.Assist in selecting and preparing images for websites, newsletters, annual reports, presentations, and promotional materials.Follow photography best practices regarding composition, lighting, framing, and color balance.Support other marketing and branding activities as assigned.Skills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Media Production, Photography or a related field.1-2 year of experience at least as a photoghrapherExperience within startups, accelerators, incubators, entrepreneurship ecosystems, educational institutions, or innovation organizations is a plus.Proficiency in DSLR and mirrorless camera operation.Good understanding of lighting techniques and camera settings.Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.Knowledge of composition, framing, color correction, and image editing.Ability to organize and manage digital asset libraries.Basic understanding of social media content requirements.Familiarity with photography equipment maintenance.Basic knowledge of videography is considered an advantage.Experience using AI-powered editing tools is a plus.Strong attention to detail and visual aesthetics.
