Junior QA Tester

Location: CairoReports to: Tech LeadAbout the RoleWe're a small, fast-moving team and we're hiring our first QA Tester. Our product — mobile apps, web app, and backend APIs — is live in production, and we need someone dedicated to making sure every release goes out solid. You'll work directly with the Tech Lead, who will train you on the system and the testing process. This is a great role for someone early in their QA career who wants real ownership and to learn fast on a live product.What You'll Do- Manually test new features and bug fixes across our mobile apps, web app, and APIs before every release- Execute and maintain regression test cases for critical user flows- Test APIs using Postman (we'll teach you our setup) and verify data correctness- Report bugs clearly in Jira: steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual, screenshots/recordings- Retest fixes and confirm nothing else broke- Help document test cases as we build our QA process togetherWhat We're Looking For- 0–2 years of software testing experience (internships and training count), or a strong graduate with an ISTQB Foundation certificate or a testing course/diploma- Solid understanding of testing basics: test cases, bug lifecycle, regression vs. smoke testing- Familiarity with testing web and mobile apps as a user — and curiosity about what's happening behind the UI- Attention to detail — you notice the small things others miss- Clear written communication: your bug report should let a developer reproduce the issue immediately- Eagerness to learn: API testing, basic SQL, and eventually automation — we'll invest in teaching you- Nice to have: any exposure to Postman, SQL, Jira, or an automation tool — bonus, not requiredWhy Join- You're the first QA hire — huge learning curve, direct mentorship from the Tech Lead, and no bureaucracy- Test a real product with real users from day one, across mobile, web, and backend- Clear growth path: as the team grows, you grow with it — toward senior QA or automation
