قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجJunior Quant Researcher – Buy Side (London)Role OverviewWe are partnering with a leading buy-side firms in London who are looking to hire highly talented Junior Quant Researchers to join their investment and trading teams.This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of systematic investing, alpha research, and data-driven decision-making, contributing directly to strategy development and portfolio performance.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct quantitative research to identify and develop new trading signals and strategiesAnalyse large and complex datasets to extract actionable insightsBuild and improve statistical and machine learning models for alpha generationBacktest strategies and evaluate performance, robustness, and risk characteristicsCollaborate closely with portfolio managers, data scientists, and engineersSupport the enhancement of research infrastructure and data pipelinesStay up to date with academic research and market developmentsCandidate ProfileEducationFirst-class degree (or equivalent) in a STEM discipline from a top-tier universitye.g. Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or similarStrong preference for candidates with advanced degrees (MSc or PhD) from leading institutionsTechnical SkillsStrong programming ability in Python (essential)Experience with data analysis libraries (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy)Knowledge of machine learning techniques is highly desirableFamiliarity with statistics, probability, and optimisation methodsExperience with SQL or large datasets is a plusExperienceInternship or up to 2 years of experience in a quantitative, research, or data-focused roleExposure to financial markets, systematic trading, or asset management is beneficial but not requiredPersonal AttributesExceptional analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong intellectual curiosity and interest in financial marketsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environmentDetail-oriented with a rigorous, research-driven approachStrong communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly
