They are seeking a Junior Research Associate to support the development, optimization, and scale-up of mammalian cell culture processes used in biologics production. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge bioprocess development projects, helping bring innovative therapies from development into manufacturing.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and optimize mammalian cell culture processes for recombinant protein production.Maintain and culture mammalian cell lines including CHO, HEK, NSO, and related expression systems.Perform media optimization, feed screening, and process improvement studies to enhance cell growth and productivity.Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain shake flasks, wave bioreactors, and stirred-tank bioreactors.Prepare cell culture media and feed formulations from scratch using aseptic techniques.Analyze growth, productivity, and nutrient consumption data using Excel and other analytical tools.Create technical reports, data summaries, presentations, and process documentation to support project and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale up and transfer processes into manufacturing operations.Research and implement new technologies and methodologies to improve upstream development activities.Qualifications & RequirementsB.S. degree in Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific discipline.1-2+ years of experience in mammalian cell culture, upstream process development, or bioprocessing.Hands-on experience with mammalian cell lines and aseptic cell culture techniques.This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or support such as H1B, TN, E-3, CPT, OPT, STEM OPT, or employment-based permanent residence processes, now or in the future.
