Junior Review Associate – Paraplanning & Advice Support Full-time | Onsite | ColomboAbout the role At Advice Lab, you'll join a team that cares about growth, collaboration and meaningful work.As a Junior Review Associate in our Quality Review team, you'll check paraplanning and advice support work before it goes to our Australian financial adviser clients. Your reviews keep that work accurate, consistent and reliable. You'll help find gaps, support our quality review process and make sure everything we deliver meets the standards our clients count on.You'll do well here if you take initiative, enjoy detailed work and want to be part of a supportive, structured team where you can grow.What you'll doQuality review and checksDo first-stage quality checks on paraplanning documents, SOAs/ROAs, file notes, research, workflows and Xplan dataFind errors, inconsistencies and gaps in documents prepared by paraplanners and client service teamsMake sure advice documents meet regulatory, compliance and internal standardsProcess support and documentationHelp maintain quality review checklists, templates and process guidelinesHelp the team record recurring issues and areas to improveCollaboration and communicationExplain the issues you find clearly to paraplanners and advice support staffGive timely feedback and help clarify requirements when neededContinuous improvementHelp put process improvements in place to lift quality and efficiencyRaise recurring issues or risks with the Senior Quality Review Analyst or Team LeadTraining and developmentTake part in internal training on Australian financial planning processes, Xplan and review standardsKeep building your technical knowledge and understanding of advice strategiesWhat you'll bringStrong attention to detail and a good eye for errorsA good understanding of documentation and administrative processesBasic knowledge of Australian financial planning terms (we'll train you)The ability to stay accurate under time pressureStrong written and verbal communication skillsConfidence using Microsoft Office and Google WorkspaceNice to haveSome exposure to paraplanning, Xplan or financial planning workflowsExperience in an audit or review role, including short-term roles or internshipsInterest in learning more about Australian financial advice processesWhat's in it for youCompetitive salary based on your experience and skillsIn-depth training that builds specialist skills you won't easily find elsewhereGreat clients who value our team so much that gifts to staff are commonOne of the best offices in Colombo, with a PlayStation 5, board games and moreA culture built by employees, for employees, with food, music, entertainment and plenty of humourAn internal leadership program.
