The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that support content delivery, internal tools, and digital products used by technology leaders. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, implementing back-end services and APIs, integrating data sources, and optimizing system performance and reliability. The role also involves collaborating with product, content, and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions, reviewing code for quality and security, and contributing to continuous improvement of the engineering stack and processes. The Software Engineer will help ensure that digital platforms are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar).Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including building APIs, working with databases, and integrating services.Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and best practices for maintainable, modular code.Relevant bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.Ability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver solutions within agreed timelines.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.Experience with web frameworks, cloud platforms, or DevOps practices is an advantage.
