Junior SOC Analyst

The roleWe're looking for a Junior SOC Analyst to join our Security Operations team. You'll monitor and protect live client environments, mostly on Microsoft Sentinel and the Defender suite, and senior analysts will mentor you as you go. This is a hands-on learning role. You'll triage real incidents from day one and grow into threat hunting and detection engineering.What you'll doMonitor and triage security and network incidents across multiple client environments, following defined SOPsProvide initial threat and vulnerability analysis, then escalate along the defined pathWork with senior analysts on investigations and root cause analysis, including corrective and preventive actionsInvestigate, document and report on security issues and emerging threat trendsLearn to write custom KQL hunting and detection rulesCollaborate with internal teams and client IT teamsTake part in a periodic on-call rotationWhat we're looking for1+ years of hands-on security experience, ideally in a SOC, MSSP or MSP supporting multiple client environmentsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel and the Defender suiteBasic PowerShell and/or KQLExperience with Jira Service Management or a similar ticketing systemStrong analytical skills and attention to detail, and you stay calm under pressureClear written and verbal communication in EnglishNice to haveIndustry security certifications, such as SC-200, Security+ or CySA+
