Junior Software Engineer

Job SummaryHRK Global Tech Solutions is seeking an ambitious and analytical Junior Software Engineer to join our technology engineering team. In this full-time associate role, you will contribute directly across the software development lifecycle—from feature development and API integration to code optimization and bug fixing. Working alongside experienced engineers and product architects, you will participate in client delivery, modern web engineering, and enterprise application development in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCore Development: Build, test, and maintain robust, scalable software applications and modular backend components.API & System Integration: Assist in building and integrating RESTful APIs and web services to connect front-end interfaces with databases and third-party systems.Quality Assurance & Testing: Write unit tests, run integration test scripts, and debug issues to maintain high code reliability, security, and performance.Code Maintenance: Conduct peer code reviews, document software features, patch application defects, and refactor code base components.Agile Collaboration: Participate actively in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, technical grooming, and architecture review sessions.Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate technical specifications, system workflow diagrams, and deployment notes for ongoing client projects.Required Qualifications & SkillsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.Programming Skills: Strong foundational command of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).CS Fundamentals: Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, system architecture, and database management principles.Web & Database Concepts: Practical understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), SQL queries, RESTful architecture, and HTTP protocol standards.Version Control: Proficiency using Git and cloud platforms like GitHub or GitLab for code versioning and pull requests.Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and aptitude for debugging complex logic issues.
