The successful candidate will assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications while working closely with experienced engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders.This position is suitable for early-career professionals who want to build practical software development experience and develop their technical skills in a professional environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing, testing, and maintaining software applications.Write clean, readable, and maintainable code under the guidance of senior engineers.Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment.Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs and technical issues.Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging.Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, designers, and other teams.Assist in developing and integrating APIs and backend services.Contribute to code reviews and follow established coding standards.Maintain technical documentation and development records.Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.Assist with application performance improvements and system maintenance.Use version-control systems such as Git to manage source code.Support software deployments and production issue resolution when required.Stay updated on relevant programming languages, frameworks, and development practices.RequirementsDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.0–2 years of software development experience.Fresh graduates with relevant internships, academic projects, or personal coding projects are encouraged to apply.Basic knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, C++, or Go.Understanding of object-oriented programming and basic software development principles.Familiarity with databases and SQL.Basic understanding of REST APIs and web technologies.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.Good communication and teamwork skills.Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Singapore.
