The person in this role will design, develop, and maintain back-end components and APIs under the guidance of senior engineers. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, testable code, debugging and resolving issues, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with product and QA teams to deliver features. The Junior Software Engineer will help implement new functionalities, optimize performance, and contribute to technical documentation to support ongoing development and maintenance.Qualifications Foundational knowledge in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.Hands-on experience or coursework in Software Development and Back-End Web Development.Proficiency in Programming with at least one modern language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or similar).Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their practical application.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to work collaboratively on-site, communicate clearly, and follow established development processes.Basic familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and relational or NoSQL databases is preferred.Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and grow into more complex engineering responsibilities over time.
