We're a collaborative team with a culture of open communication, continuous improvement and shared delivery accountability, and we invest in developing our people from day one.About the role: The ideal candidate will work with our established Radax rapid development toolkit to build market-leading applications at pace, and will contribute to the toolkit itself, extending its capabilities, automation features and productivity accelerators.The focus is primarily on client-side development in React and TypeScript, but you'll also contribute to server-side business logic in Python, middleware, system integrations and infrastructure automation, with a consistent emphasis on quality, security and maintainability.This is a genuine growth role. You'll take real ownership of your professional development, working with Agentic AI every day alongside experienced engineers who will support you as you find your feet.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesApplication DevelopmentDevelop and maintain robust, high-quality client applications using React, TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworksConvert designs and wireframes into production-ready interfaces that are both visually polished and technically soundWork with UI and UX teams to shape reusable component libraries that support design consistency and engineering efficiencyMonitor, profile and optimise application performance to ensure responsiveness, scalability and long-term maintainabilityMiddleware and Platform IntegrationAssist in designing and developing middleware components and server-side business logic in Python, delivering dependable functionality and seamless system integrationsContribute to the evolution of the Radax platform by supporting the development of AI toolkits, automation features and productivity acceleratorsQuality and Engineering ExcellenceWrite clean, well-structured code that's built to be read, maintained and extended, by both humans and AI coding toolsParticipate actively in process improvement, offering clear, constructive and improvement-driven feedbackKeep current with emerging technologies, frameworks and development patterns that strengthen the Dax engineering propositionCollaboration, Delivery and Ways of WorkingWork closely with the Customer Success function to refine requirements, prioritise backlogs and support predictable deliveryEngage proactively in assigned tasks, adapting to evolving business needs and taking ownership of your professional growthCollaborate effectively across functional teams, supporting a culture of open communication, continuous improvement and shared delivery accountabilityAbout youKnowledge & QualificationsWorking towards, or completed: BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other relevant qualificationSkillsUnderstanding of RESTful APIs and web servicesExcellent communication skillsAbility to work in an agile organisationAttention to detail and quality orientationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperienceNone required.
