An AI assistant that connects with everyday work tools, follows conversations and helps move things forward. Meeting follow-ups, task updates, recurring workflows and the small jobs that quietly eat up the day.We’re looking for a junior developer who wants to build useful software and take an active role in an early-stage product.The roleYou’ll work directly with our CTO and a small team to build features, develop integrations and improve how Cedric works for users.The work spans the application, external APIs and AI workflows. You might spend one day improving onboarding and the next figuring out why an integration failed or how to make an AI action more reliable.You’ll have guidance, regular feedback and room to take on more responsibility as you develop.What you’ll work onProduct features: Build and improve the interfaces and backend services people use to interact with Cedric.Integrations: Connect Cedric with communication, calendar, project management and other work tools.AI workflows: Help turn user requests into actions, with clear approval steps and sensible handling when something goes wrong.Reliability: Investigate bugs, handle API failures and improve the consistency of recurring tasks.User experience: Reduce friction in onboarding and make features easier to understand and use.Engineering quality: Write readable code, contribute to code reviews and test the changes you ship.What we’re looking forYou’re early in your career, but you’ve already spent time building things. You can explain your decisions, work through a problem and ask for help when you need it.You should have:Solid programming fundamentals and experience with at least one modern programming language.Some experience building web applications through personal projects, university work, internships or employment.A working understanding of APIs, databases and Git.An interest in how AI products work beyond the chat interface.Good written and spoken English.The ability to organise your work and communicate clearly in a remote team.Attention to detail, especially when your code affects a user’s data or triggers an action.Fresh graduates are welcome. Show us what you can build and how you think.Nice to haveExperience using LLM APIs.Projects involving automation or third-party integrations.Familiarity with authentication, webhooks or background jobs.Experience deploying an application and maintaining it after launch.Contributions to open-source projects.You don’t need to tick every box to apply.Why join CedricCedric was built through Swiss Founders Fund’s venture studio in Zurich.
