Location: Market Harborough (Hybrid)Salary: £28,000 - £32,000Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. Hybrid working (two days per week in the office once established)Contract: Permanent, full-timeWe are recruiting on behalf of a growing digital business based in Market Harborough who are looking to bring in a Junior Web Developer to support their web and e-commerce projects.This role is ideal for someone early in their development career who has a solid technical foundation, is well organised, and is keen to learn, particularly around AI and emerging technologies.Reporting to the Project Manager, you will work as part of a supportive team, assisting with the build, maintenance and improvement of websites for a varied client base.Development & Technical DeliveryBuild, maintain and optimise websites and e-commerce platformsWork across multiple CMS and e-commerce systems, including: WordPress, Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, Webflow, Other CMS platforms as requiredImplement custom functionality using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and related technologiesTroubleshoot bugs and resolve technical issuesEnsure websites are secure, performant, mobile-friendly and SEO compliantManage website migrations, updates, integrations and ongoing maintenanceClient ManagementAct as a primary technical contact for assigned clientsAttend client meetings and discovery sessionsManage client expectations and communicate project progress clearlyHandle phone calls, emails and support requests professionallyTranslate technical requirements into practical solutionsWork closely with account managers to deliver projects on time and within scopeAI & InnovationUtilise AI-powered tools and platforms to improve development workflowsIdentify opportunities to implement AI solutions for client projectsStay up to date with emerging AI technologies and best practiceAssist in developing AI-enhanced digital experiences and automationsThis role would suit someone who has:Minimum 2 years' experience in web developmentExperience with CMS platforms, WordPress and Shopify (essential)Excellent desk management and organisational skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAn open and enthusiastic approach to AI and new technologiesThe ability to manage your workload and work collaborativelyA full UK driving licence
