JUNIOR TECHNICIAN (Copier / MFP Service)

We are looking for a Junior Copier Technician with basic experience servicing copiers, multifunction printers, and office printing equipment.The candidate will assist with installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and customer support for copier and printer equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and configure copiers, multifunction printers, and printers.Perform basic troubleshooting and repair of copier hardware.Carry out preventive maintenance according to service schedules.Diagnose paper jams, image-quality problems, feeding issues, and basic mechanical faults.Replace consumables and service parts including toner, drums, developer units, rollers, fusers, and maintenance kits.Assist senior technicians with complex repairs.Configure basic network printing and scanning.Install printer drivers on customer computers.Configure scan-to-folder, scan-to-email, and basic address book settings.Perform machine cleaning and general servicing.Record meter readings and service details.Maintain service reports for each customer visit.Inform the service coordinator about required spare parts and consumables.Ensure customer equipment is functioning correctly before completing service calls.Maintain professional behaviour at customer locations.Requirements1–3 years of copier/printer technical experience preferred.Diploma or technical qualification in Electronics, Electrical, IT, Computer Hardware, or related field.Basic understanding of copier mechanical and electronic systems.Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP and printer configuration.Ability to diagnose basic hardware faults.Willingness to learn new copier models and technologies.Good communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently after training.Valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
