Responsibilities

Website Development:Assist in designing and developing responsive WordPress, Shopify, HTML and Coding based websites.Collaborate with team members to implement visual elements and user experience enhancements.Customize existing themes or assist in creating simple custom WordPress and Shopify based themes on project requirements.Maintain and update existing websites.Front-End Development:Implement and maintain front-end functionality and appearance of websites.Utilize HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript and related technologies to create engaging user interfaces.Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.Back-End Development:Assist in customizing and extending WordPress core functionalities.Troubleshoot and debug issues related to website functionality.Follow WordPress coding standards and guidelines.SEO (Search Engine Optimization):Perform on-page SEO including meta tags, headings, and keyword optimization.Assist in technical SEO such as site speed optimization, indexing, sitemap, and basic schema implementation.Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.Optimize website content for search engines.Monitor performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.Support off-page SEO activities such as basic link building.Security and Performance Optimization:Implement basic security best practices under guidance.Optimize website performance for faster load times.Assist in regular audits and updates.Content Management:Work on WordPress CMS for content updates and uploads.Ensure SEO-friendly content formatting and structuring.Quality Assurance:Test websites to identify and report bugs or issues.Assist in cross-device and cross-browser testing.Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements.Collaborate with developers, designers, and marketing team members.Align development tasks with SEO and marketing goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Basic understanding of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and jQuery.Understanding of SEO fundamentals.Familiarity with WordPress CMS.Knowledge of SEO tools is a plus.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.At 361 Degrees Marketing, we believe in nurturing talent and providing a platform for continuous learning and professional development.
