We're hiring a Jyotish Researcher. Full-time, Kathmandu.Our team is doing serious long-form research in Jyotish - careful, sourced, and written down properly. This is not a reading or consulting role. It's research and writing.Who we're looking for:• Reads and interprets Sanskrit source texts and commentaries directly. This is the one requirement we won't bend on.• Formally trained - Nepal Sanskrit University, a vidyapith, a gurukul, or sustained study under a teacher or as tradition. We care where you studied and with whom.• 2+ years of Jyotish study and practice. Depth of training matters more to us than length of client list.• Grounded in the wider corpus, not Jyotish in isolation.• Honest enough to write "I couldn't source this" rather than invent a clean answer.NPR 40,000 - 50,000/month.To apply, email tech@himalayanai.com with a short note on your training.
