Captain – Qualifications and Requirements* Minimum 10 years of experience as a Master/Captain.* Proven experience in international voyages and overseas maritime operations.* Has actively served as Captain of a displacement yacht/vessel of at least 30 meters LOA within the last five (5) years.* Holds all required STCW certificates, licenses, Certificates of Competency (CoC), and other professional maritime qualifications applicable to the position.* Thorough knowledge of national and international maritime laws, regulations, and conventions.* Able to provide at least two professional references.* Clean professional record with satisfactory results from background and security checks.* No history of serious disciplinary actions or major marine accidents resulting from negligence.* Strong leadership, team management, organizational, and decision-making skills with a disciplined and responsible approach.* Comprehensive knowledge of motor yacht technical systems, including navigation electronics, main engines, generators, watermakers, stabilizers, tenders, water sports equipment, and other onboard systems.* Physically and psychologically fit to undertake extended voyages and long-term assignments both domestically and internationally.* Demonstrated ability to manage crew operations, including personnel supervision, watchkeeping schedules, and performance management.* Experienced in maintenance planning, repairs, technical service coordination, budgeting, and procurement, including fuel, spare parts, and vessel supplies.* Well-versed in emergency response procedures, including search and rescue (SAR), firefighting, and onboard safety management.* Experience dealing with Port State Control (PSC) inspections, Flag State requirements, customs, immigration, health authorities, and other regulatory agencies.* Good knowledge of the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC 2006), including crew welfare, working conditions, and accommodation standards.* Familiar with marine insurance, tonnage certification, and classification society (Class) requirements and surveys.* Proficient in spoken and written English.* Holds a valid driver’s license and is able to operate motor vehicles when required.* Able to communicate professionally with the Owner, guests, and stakeholders, maintaining the highest standards of service, discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.* Willing and able to remain away from home and family for extended periods as required by operational needs.* Military service completed (where applicable).* Meets all applicable medical fitness requirements, including a valid seafarer’s medical certificate and health examination.-En az 10 yıl gemi kaptanlığı deneyimine sahip,Yurt dışı sefer ve operasyon tecrübesi bulunan,Son 5 yıl içerisinde en az 30 metre deplasman tipi gemi/tekne üzerinde kaptan olarak aktif görev yapmış,Görev için gerekli tüm STCW sertifikaları, ehliyetler ve mesleki yeterlilik belgelerine sahip,Ulusal ve uluslararası denizcilik kurallarına hâkim,En az 2 iş referansı sunabilecek,Güvenlik soruşturmaları ve mesleki geçmiş incelemelerinde olumlu sicile sahip,Ağır ihmal kaynaklı deniz kazası veya ciddi disiplin cezası bulunmayan,Liderlik vasıfları güçlü, ekip yönetiminde deneyimli, disiplinli ve sorumluluk sahibi.Motoryat tipi gemilerde teknik sistemlere (seyir elektroniği, jeneratör, motor,su yapımı, stabilizatör, tender ve su sporu ekipmanları ve benzeri sistemler) hâkim olmak,Yurt içi ve yurt dışında uzun süreli demirleme ve seyir programlarına uyum sağlayabilecek fiziksel ve psikolojik uygunluğa sahip olmak,Gemi personelinin sevk ve idaresi, vardiya planlaması ve performans yönetimini yürütebilecek yönetsel yetkinliğe sahip olmak,Bakım, onarım ve teknik servis süreçlerinin planlanması ile bütçe ve tedarik (mühimmat, yakıt, yedek parça) yönetiminde tecrübe sahibi olmak,Acil durum, arama kurtarma ve yangınla mücadele prosedürlerine hâkim olmak,Liman devleti kontrolleri (Port State Control), bayrak devleti mevzuatı ve gümrük, sağlık, göçmenlik gibi resmi mercilerle yürütülecek iş ve işlemlerde tecrübe sahibi olmak,Denizde Can Emniyeti Sözleşmesi (MLC 2006) kapsamındaki mürettebat çalışma ve yaşam koşulu standartlarına hâkim olmak,Sigorta, tonaj belgesi ve klas kuruluşu (class society) süreçleri hakkında bilgi sahibi olmak,İngilizce dilinde sözlü ve yazılı iletişim kurabilecek düzeyde yetkinliğe sahip olmak,Sürücü belgesine ve gerektiğinde kara nakil vasıtası kullanabilme becerisine sahip olmak,Gemi sahibi ve/veya misafirlerle profesyonel iletişim ve üst düzey hizmet standardına uygun davranış sergileyebilmek, gizlilik ilkesine riayet etmek,Uzun süreli görevlendirme boyunca ailesinden ve yerleşim yerinden ayrı kalabilecek durumda olmak,Askerlik hizmetini tamamlamış olmak,Sağlık raporu ve denizcilik sağlık muayenesi şartlarını karşılıyor olmak.
