English Language Private School is committed to delivering high-quality education that prepares learners for global opportunities and further studies.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Karate / Martial Arts Instructor role based at English Language Private School in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The instructor will plan and deliver age-appropriate martial arts lessons, focusing on skills development, discipline, safety, and physical fitness for students across different year groups. Daily responsibilities include demonstrating techniques, supervising practice sessions, managing class behavior, and ensuring a safe training environment that aligns with school policies. The role also involves preparing students for internal demonstrations or school events, tracking progress, and communicating effectively with school staff and, where appropriate, families. The instructor will collaborate with the wider school team to support the overall wellbeing and personal development of students.Qualifications Strong Martial Arts Instruction skills, with the ability to teach mixed-ability groups in a school setting.Proficiency in one or more disciplines such as Taekwondo, Boxing, or Kickboxing, with formal training or certification.Demonstrated Training skills, including session planning, progression tracking, and coaching for safety and performance.Relevant coaching or instructor certifications from recognized martial arts or sports bodies.Experience working with children or young people in an educational or coaching environment.Ability to maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning atmosphere focused on discipline and personal growth.Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with school staff and follow school policies and procedures.First aid knowledge or certification is an advantage; prior experience in a school in the UAE or similar setting is beneficial.
