Job Purpose:The Poultry Feed Key Account Specialist is responsible for supervising and growing poultry feed sales within an assigned area by maintaining strong relationships with key customers, ensuring consistent order fulfillment, providing field-level technical and commercial support, and monitoring flock performance. The role supervises sales activities in the designated region, supports customer retention, and ensures alignment between customer needs and company operations.Key Accountabilities:Area Management & Sales ExecutionSupervise poultry feed sales within the assigned geographic area.Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for poultry feed products.Maintain regular customer visits to strengthen relationships and ensure satisfaction.Identify new business opportunities within the area and support onboarding of new customers.Monitor competitor activity (pricing, promotions, service level) and report insights to Sales Manager.Key Account Relationship ManagementServe as the primary daily contact for assigned large poultry customers (broilers, layers, breeders, distributers).Maintain strong follow-up on orders, deliveries, and credit limits.Address customer concerns quickly and coordinate solutions with internal departments.Support customer retention through consistent service, communication, and problem-solving.Order Coordination & Delivery Follow-UpReceive and verify daily customer orders and coordinate with Planning and Logistics.Monitor delivery schedules, truck availability, and dispatch timing.Notify customers proactively of possible delays or adjustments.Ensure accurate documentation (DN, invoices, contracts) is shared with customers.Farm Visits & Basic Technical SupportVisit farms to gather performance data (weight gain, FCR, mortality, feed intake).Report issues to the Nutrition or Technical team when specialized support is needed.Provide basic guidance on feed handling, storage, and management practices.Follow up on feed quality, moisture, and feed complaints at the farm level.Complaint Handling & Internal CoordinationRegister customer complaints and coordinate with Quality, Nutrition, Operations, and Sales.Support root-cause investigations and ensure timely closure.Participate in improvement actions related to service, quality, or logistics.Collections & Credit Follow-UpFollow up on outstanding payments with customers in coordination with Finance.Ensure adherence to credit limits and company payment terms.Reporting & DocumentationSubmit weekly visit plans and territory reports.Update CRM systems with customer interactions, issues, and activities.Track sales performance, forecast volumes, and monitor customer buying behavior.Experience & Academic Qualifications: 1–3 years of experience in poultry farms, feed sales, technical support, or agri-sales roles.Experience in feed mills or poultry integrators is preferred.Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Poultry Science, Agriculture, or related field.
