Kids BJJ Mentor

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Kids BJJ Mentor role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Kids BJJ Mentor will guide children through age-appropriate Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes, focusing on technique, discipline, respect, and confidence-building. Daily responsibilities include planning and delivering structured lessons, supervising warm-ups and drills, and ensuring a safe and supportive training environment. The mentor will monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and communicate with parents or caregivers about development and class expectations. Additional duties may include assisting with class administration, supporting events or competitions, and collaborating with other team members to maintain high training standards.Qualifications Strong Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu skills, with experience teaching or mentoring children in martial arts or similar disciplines.Demonstrated ability to manage groups of children, with a patient, encouraging, and safety-focused approach.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage young learners and maintain clear, professional relationships with parents and colleagues.Basic understanding of child development and age-appropriate training methods, especially in a sports or physical education setting.Ability to create structured lesson plans, adapt instruction to different skill levels, and maintain an organized training environment.Commitment to inclusivity, cultural sensitivity, and respectful behavior in a diverse, international setting such as Dubai.Physical fitness suitable for demonstrating techniques, leading drills, and maintaining energy throughout multiple classes.Previous experience working in a martial arts academy or sports club is preferred; coaching certifications or first aid/CPR training are an advantage.
