This vibrant destination offers a seamless blend of relaxation, indulgence, and recreation, making it the ultimate gateway to the Yas Island experience.About the jobThe Kids Club Animator is responsible for creating a safe, fun, engaging, and welcoming environment for children participating in Kids Club activities. The role involves supervising children, organizing age-appropriate recreational and educational activities, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards, and delivering exceptional guest service to children and their parents.Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome children and families warmly and provide a friendly and engaging experience.Supervise children at all times and ensure their safety and well-being within the Kids Club.Plan and conduct a variety of age-appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, games, sports, storytelling, music, dancing, and educational activities.Organize daily activity schedules and ensure activities are delivered in an energetic and engaging manner.Encourage children to participate while respecting their individual interests, abilities, and comfort levels.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe Kids Club environment and ensure all equipment is used appropriately.Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and child safeguarding and safety standards.Ensure children are registered and released only to authorized parents or guardians in accordance with hotel procedures.Communicate professionally and courteously with parents regarding activities, schedules, and their children's participation.Monitor children's behavior and manage minor conflicts in a calm, positive, and appropriate manner.Assist with special events, children's parties, themed activities, and holiday programs.Inspect activity areas and equipment before use and report any hazards, damages, or maintenance requirements promptly.Maintain accurate attendance and activity records as required.Support other Recreation and hotel activities when required.Promote Kids Club facilities and activities to guests and encourage participation.Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards at all times.Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by the management teamAbout YouHigh school diploma or equivalent; childcare, education, recreation, or hospitality-related certification is an advantage.Previous experience working with children in a hotel, resort, childcare center, school, or recreational environment preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Friendly, energetic, patient, and responsible personality.Basic first aid and CPR certification is an advantage.Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and public holidays.Shape Your Career with Yas Plaza Hotels by IHGAt Yas Plaza Hotels, our people are at the heart of everything we do.
