The Abu Dhabi campus provides a diverse, inclusive environment where educators collaborate to bring curriculum to life for young learners.Role Description The Kindergarten Arabic Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based at GIIS Abu Dhabi. The teacher will deliver age-appropriate Arabic language lessons, focusing on developing listening, speaking, reading, and early writing skills in a nurturing classroom environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans aligned with school curricula, using interactive and play-based methods, and integrating elements of the 9GEMS and Global Montessori Plus frameworks into classroom practice. The teacher will assess student progress, maintain records, provide regular feedback to families, and collaborate with colleagues to support holistic development and classroom management. Additional responsibilities include participating in school events, contributing to co-curricular activities, and ensuring a safe, inclusive, and culturally respectful learning space.Qualifications Strong proficiency in Arabic language teaching for early years, including age-appropriate literacy and communication skills.Experience with kindergarten or early childhood pedagogy, preferably with Montessori or similar child-centered approaches.Ability to design engaging, play-based lesson plans and learning activities that support holistic development.Effective classroom management, student observation, and formative assessment skills.Clear, respectful communication skills for working with young children, colleagues, and families in a multicultural setting.Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Arabic Language, or a closely related field; teaching qualification or certification is an advantage.Prior experience in international or CBSE/IB-style schools is beneficial, especially within the UAE or GCC region.Commitment to inclusive practices, child safety, and ongoing professional development.
