The technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing commercial kitchen equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Daily tasks include diagnosing equipment issues, performing preventive maintenance, and completing necessary adjustments or part replacements. The role involves installing new kitchen equipment, testing functionality, adhering to safety and electrical standards, and keeping accurate maintenance records. The technician will collaborate with kitchen staff and management, respond to service requests, and support continuous improvement of equipment reliability and performance.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance for commercial kitchen systems.Candidates should possess skills in Equipment Installation, including safe setup, calibration, and commissioning of kitchen equipment.Candidates should possess effective Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve mechanical and operational issues promptly.Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Electricity related to kitchen equipment, including safe handling and basic electrical diagnostics.Relevant technical diploma or certification in mechanical, electrical, or refrigeration fields is preferred.Previous experience working with commercial kitchen or hospitality equipment is highly beneficial.Ability to read technical manuals and schematics, follow safety procedures, and maintain organized service documentation.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to work on-site in Abu Dhabi and respond to urgent maintenance needs as required.
