With 12 locations across the UAE and a flagship store in Hong Kong, Roasters continues to expand internationally while focusing on quality, hospitality, and memorable guest experiences.Role Description The Kitchen Staff role is a full-time, on-site position based at Roasters Specialty Coffee House in Hong Kong SAR. The role involves preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen during breakfast, lunch, and dinner service. Responsibilities include following recipes and presentation standards, maintaining high hygiene and food safety practices, and ensuring workstations are clean, stocked, and organized. Kitchen Staff members collaborate closely with the front-of-house team to support timely service and respond to special dietary requests. The role also includes basic inventory support, such as checking stock levels, assisting with deliveries, and reducing waste through careful handling and storage.Qualifications Strong skills in Food Preparation and Cooking, with the ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent quality.Knowledge of Hygiene and food safety standards, including proper cleaning, sanitizing, and safe food handling practices.Effective Communication skills for coordinating with team members and responding to service needs.Customer Service awareness to support a positive guest experience, especially when interacting with guests at the counter or open kitchen.Previous experience in a café, bakery, or restaurant kitchen is preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and handle peak service times calmly.Basic understanding of international café culture and interest in specialty coffee and artisan food is an advantage.Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required by the business.
