Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe are looking for a Korean–Chinese Interpreter / Translator to work with our Korean company partner, LS MnM, to support smooth communication and collaboration between Korean managers, Chinese management-level personnel at IMIP, and the local organization.This position is not limited to general office interpretation. The role will primarily support on-site communication and interpretation related to production, facilities, safety, operations, and other field activities. Candidates must be willing to work in a remote area of Morowali and be able to relocate independently without accompanying family members.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide Korean–Chinese interpretation between Korean managers and Chinese managers at IMIP and within the local organizationProvide interpretation for management, operations, production, facilities, safety, on-site discussions, and various meetingsSupport communication of work instructions and response to on-site issuesFacilitate on-site communication and coordination among relevant teamsSupport the translation and preparation of technical/operational documents, including meeting materials, reports, and work instructionsCoordinate work and communication between Korean managers, IMIP, and local organizationsSupport other local operational, administrative, and coordination activities as requiredAdditional responsibilities may be assigned depending on the candidate's language proficiency, interpretation/translation experience, manufacturing or field experience, and overall suitability for the role.RequirementsAdvanced/professional-level Korean and Chinese interpretation and translation skillsAbility to communicate effectively in a professional setting between Korean managers and Chinese managersWillingness and ability to work long-term in Morowali, Indonesia, as an independent assigneeWillingness to work in an environment where accompanying family members is generally restrictedWillingness to work 6 days per week, depending on local conditions and business requirementsNo restrictions or disqualifying circumstances regarding employment in Indonesia and obtaining the required work visa (for Korean or Chinese nationality)Preferred Qualifications:Experience in interpretation/translation within manufacturing, plant, or production sitesExperience working for Chinese manufacturing, plant, mining, smelting, or construction companiesExperience in production, facilities, safety, or quality-related work, or experience translating technical documentsOverseas living or working experience in China, Korea, or other countriesProficiency in English or IndonesianExperience working and coordinating with Chinese managers and local organizationsEmployment Conditions & Benefit
