KOREAN LANGUAGE LECTURER

As the institution grows, it collaborates with international partners and educators to expand its global reach and academic offerings, including language and cultural studies.Role Description The Korean Language Lecturer will teach Korean language courses to undergraduate students, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and learning materials, delivering lectures and interactive classes, assessing student performance through assignments and exams, and providing academic guidance and feedback. The lecturer will also contribute to curriculum development, participate in departmental meetings, and support student engagement activities related to Korean language and culture. This is a full-time, on-site role located in South Jakarta, Indonesia.QualificationsStrong proficiency in Korean language.Experience in teaching Korean as a foreign or second language, including lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment.Knowledge of Korean linguistics, culture, and contemporary society to enrich course content and student learning.Ability to use online learning platforms, digital tools, and multimedia resources to support engaging, high-quality instruction.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Korean Language, Korean Studies, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.Strong communication, interpersonal, and cross-cultural skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in an academic environment.Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching and continuous professional development.Prior experience teaching in higher education or international programs is an advantage.
