The ideal candidate is passionate about working with neurodiverse individuals and families, committed to culturally responsive care, and excited to help expand access to high-quality assessment services throughout Colorado.This position primarily focuses on comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessment services, although psychologists interested in providing psychotherapy are also welcome to apply. Learn more at www.kimelpsych.com.What You'll DoClinical AssessmentConduct comprehensive psychological, psychoeducational, developmental, and neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults (it is okay if you have a specialty in a particular age range, and we try to direct the proper evaluations to your expertise).Assess autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, giftedness, developmental disabilities, mood disorders, and related conditionsAdminister, score, interpret, and integrate a wide variety of assessment measuresUse gold-standard autism assessment tools including ADOS-2 and ADI-R when clinically indicatedPrepare comprehensive, timely, and high-quality written reportsProvide diagnostic feedback and recommendations to families and clientsMaintain commitment to evidence-based assessment practices and current professional standardsClinical CareProvide high-quality, neurodiversity-affirming, compassionate, and ethical careMaintain awareness of community resources and provide individualized referralsEnsure HIPAA compliance and maintain organized clinical documentationMaintain professional licensure and continuing education requirementsCollaboration & GrowthParticipate in weekly clinical consultation and professional development with colleaguesCollaborate with schools, physicians, therapists, and other professionals involved in client careAssist families in understanding educational supports, accommodations, and intervention optionsPromote awareness of developmental disabilities through community outreach, trainings, advocacy, and educationWork in a highly desirable professional office setting in the Denver Tech Center/Greenwood Village areaOptional OpportunitiesSupervise graduate-level Psy.D. and Ph.D. traineesParticipate in internal trainings and assessment team development initiativesPossibilities for individual and group therapy are availableWhat We OfferCompetitive CompensationHighly competitive monthly compensation commensurate with experience, caseload, and supervisory responsibilities.
