All training and support will be provided so prior experience is welcome but not required.What you will gain• Experience working within a regulated financial services environment• Exposure to financial crime compliance• Training in KYA due diligence and screening methodologies• Experience working with complex investment structures• Development opportunities within financial crime, compliance and risk functionsKey ResponsibilitiesAnalysis & Due Diligence• Analyse and synthesise complex information from a range of sources• Conduct research to validate data• Record accurate information and risk rate counterparties• Identify and escalate risks and issues• Investigate and disposition screening alerts and document the results• Complete reporting on due diligence carried outCommercial in ConfidenceData & Documentation• Input and maintain findings accurately, with clearly articulated reasoning• Store documents and data within internal systems as required, respecting namingconventions• Ensure all documentation and data is complete, compliant and meets internal andregulatory standards• Complete trackers and registers required to support management information and reportingControls & Process• Follow established control frameworks, workflows and procedures consistently, and withinagreed SLAs• Flag process issues or improvement opportunities to the team lead or their deputyStakeholder Interaction• Liaise with members of internal teams to resolve queries• Communicate clearly and professionally when raising risks and issues, or requestingmissing or updated documentationSkills and ExperienceEssential• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse and synthesise complex information froma range of sources, and to identify potential risks and issues in relation to compliance with agiven standard• Ability to conduct open-source research to find and validate data, with a high level ofaccuracy• A methodical approach to recording information and following required processes• Willingness to ask questions, to follow the evidence uncovered through review ofdocumentation or research, and to escalate risks and issues promptly• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Proficient in Microsoft Office
