Location: Saudi Arabia (KSA)Contract: 12 months, extendableOverviewTangent International is looking for an experienced L2 Windows Server Administrator to support enterprise Windows infrastructure within a BSS managed services environment.The successful candidate will provide L2 administration and troubleshooting across Windows Server environments, ensuring availability, performance, security and patch compliance while supporting business-critical BSS applications.ResponsibilitiesAdminister Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 environments.Manage Active Directory services, including AD DS, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and ADFS.Troubleshoot OS-level incidents including service failures, BSODs, performance issues and Windows event logs.Manage Windows patching using SCCM and WSUS, coordinating changes through established Change Management processes.Administer IIS supporting Windows-based web applications.Configure and manage Windows Failover Clustering (WSFC).Manage Group Policies, local security policies and Windows Firewall configurations.Monitor server performance using SCOM, Windows Performance Monitor or equivalent platforms.Administer Windows storage, including disk management, Storage Spaces and iSCSI.Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for administration and automation.Coordinate with L1/NOC teams on alerts, health checks and incident escalation.Support application teams across .NET, IIS, MSSQL and Windows-hosted BSS components.Maintain infrastructure documentation, run-books and CMDB records.Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity testing.Support security hardening and privileged access management within the Windows environment.Required Skills5–10 years' experience in Windows Server administration.Strong Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 knowledge.Strong Active Directory, AD DS, DNS, DHCP and GPO expertise.IIS administration experience.Windows Failover Clustering experience.SCCM and/or WSUS patch management experience.Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.Windows performance tuning and troubleshooting experience.Experience with monitoring platforms such as SCOM, Nagios or Zabbix.Understanding of ITIL incident and change management processes.Strong written and spoken English.University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.Nice-to-Have SkillsTelecom or BSS application environment experience.Microsoft Exchange Server 2016/2019.Microsoft Dynamics CRM.Microsoft SharePoint.VMware and/or RHOS virtualisation environments.Ansible automation for Windows.WinRM.ELK-based monitoring/logging.LAPS, PAM and AD-integrated privileged account governance.Microsoft Azure Administrator or Windows Server Hybrid Administrator certification.Why Apply?This is an opportunity to work within a large-scale enterprise/BSS managed services environment, supporting business-critical Microsoft infrastructure and gaining exposure to a broad Windows technology stack.The initial contract is 12 months with the potential to extend.How to ApplyIf your experience matches the requirements, please send your latest CV to james.bundock@tanint.com
