Technical Oversight (MW): Provide "on-call" support during night-time maintenance windows; review and approve MOPs for high-risk activities. RCA & Optimization: Conduct deep-dive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for complex outages and implement preventative measures. Automation & Mentorship: Develop Python/Ansible scripts to automate deployment tasks and mentor L2 engineers on advanced routing and troubleshooting techniques.Required Skills 6–10 years of experience in large-scale service provider environments. Expert-level knowledge of MPLS-TE, Segment Routing, and high-availability design. Strong project management mindset with the ability to lead cross-functional teams during critical night-time deployments.Core Expectations for Both Roles Sustainable High Performance: Commitment to maintaining network stability while meeting aggressive deployment timelines. Shift Flexibility: Availability to support night-time maintenance windows as per the project schedule.
