This role serves as the senior technical investigator within the Security Operations Center (SOC), leading the investigation of complex security incidents and helping protect critical tournament systems and technology environments.Key ResponsibilitiesInvestigate advanced cybersecurity incidents, threats, and security alerts.Perform detailed root cause analysis of security events and potential attacks.Lead and support incident response and containment activities.Conduct proactive threat hunting to identify hidden or emerging threats.Analyze logs, network traffic, and security events using SIEM and security monitoring tools.Support the escalation and resolution of critical security incidents.Develop and improve detection rules, use cases, and monitoring capabilities.Document investigation findings and provide technical recommendations.Requirements3+ years of cybersecurity, SOC, or security operations experience.Strong experience with advanced incident investigation and analysis.Hands-on experience with incident response activities.Experience conducting threat hunting exercises.Experience using SIEM platforms and security monitoring tools.Good understanding of cyber threats, attack techniques, and security operations.Ability to investigate and resolve complex security incidents.Relevant cybersecurity certifications are advantageous.Preferred BackgroundL3 SOC AnalystSenior SOC AnalystSenior Cybersecurity AnalystIncident Response AnalystThreat HunterCybersecurity Operations Analyst
