Lab Director – Molecular Pathology & CytogeneticsDetroit, Michigan | Full TimeKey RequirementsPhD in Life Sciences, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology, or a related field.Board Certification or Active Candidacy with the ABMGG in Laboratory Genetics & Genomics, Clinical Cytogenetics & Genomics, or Clinical Molecular Genetics & Genomics.Previous clinical laboratory experience, including technical and/or managerial leadership in Molecular Pathology or Cytogenetics.Strong hands-on knowledge of NGS, RT-PCR, Sanger sequencing, microarray, FISH, and karyotyping.Knowledge of CLIA and CAP laboratory regulations and standards.Demonstrated leadership, project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
