Team members benefit from a collaborative, mission-driven environment that bridges academia, industry, and community needs.Role Description The Applied Crop Physiology Laboratory at Northern R&D is seeking a dynamic, independent, and highly motivated Lab Manager with a passion for science to help lead cutting-edge research.Our laboratory integrates a wide range of advanced approaches, from molecular biology, biochemistry, and microscopy to plant physiology and large-scale field experiments.

Key Responsibilities

· Plan, lead, and execute complex laboratory and field experiments.· Develop, implement, and optimize new research protocols.· Perform bioinformatics analyses and work with large datasets.· Mentor and support students and research trainees in the laboratory.· Coordinate ongoing activities with suppliers, companies, and research partners in Israel and abroad.

Requirements

M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences (Plant Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field) – required.Strong hands-on experience with advanced research methods and analytical techniques in the life sciences.Excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently, and strong interpersonal communication skills.Experience in scientific writing in Hebrew and English – a significant advantage.Experience working with Big Data and bioinformatics analysis – an advantage.Position Details:- Full-time position- Immediate startInterested candidates are invited to send their CV, certificates, and recommendation letters to: Shimrit.az@migal.org.ilPlease indicate the position title in the subject line.Only suitable candidates will be contacted.
