Lab Owner – Silicon (Austin, TX)Role Overview We are seeking a Lab Owner to lead silicon activities. This role includes daily lab management, equipment oversight, and upgrades, as well as test chip validation, silicon power measurements, and performance/power analysis. Responsibilities also involve developing test patterns, profiling workloads with data science methods, and performing device teardowns, soldering, wiring, and reworks.QualificationsBS in EE/CE/CS or related field8+ years in silicon labs (oscilloscopes, JTAG, power analyzers)Python automation, Android/iOS experiencePreferred qualificationsMaster's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, with an emphasis on computer architecture.Experience with iOS or Android system kernels.Experience with device calibration and trimming procedures.Experience with printed circuit board (PCB)-level mixed-signal validation or debugging on IPs (e.g., temperature sensors, current sensors, droop detectors, ADC, or Class-D amplifiers).Experience with PLLs, ADC, current sensors, or ring oscillators.
