In this role, you'll guide a team of approximately 20 laboratory professionals, oversee quality across the analytical and post-analytical phases of testing, and serve as a trusted resource for physicians and clients. This is a hands-on leadership role: you'll be in the arena with your team every day, bringing deep technical knowledge to coaching, problem-solving, and quality oversight rather than working the bench yourself.What You'll DoTeam LeadershipDirectly supervise approximately 20 staff, including scheduling, daily huddles, and ongoing staff developmentCoach, mentor, and grow your team, building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementStay visible and engaged on the floor, supporting staff through day-to-day operationsQuality & OperationsServe as the first line of quality assurance oversight for the departmentOversee quality control of automated processesEnsure proper maintenance and performance of laboratory equipment and instrumentation (analytical phase)Apply specialized expertise in areas such as electrophoresis and ANA platforms to troubleshoot issues and guide technical decisionsClient & Physician PartnershipServe as a knowledgeable point of contact for physicians and clients on results and inquiries (post-analytical phase)Communicate complex technical information professionally, clearly, and with confidenceConsistently meet and exceed customer expectationsQualificationsWhat You BringBachelor's degree in science field of study4+ years of clinical laboratory experienceASCP or AMT certificationFlorida State clinical laboratory licensure (Supervisor level)Specialized knowledge of electrophoresis and ANA testing, with the ability to speak the technical language fluentlyStrong leadership, communication, and customer-service skillsWhy Join UsOpportunity to grow with a nationally known organizationClear paths for professional development and advancementSix Figure SalaryStrong Benefits Package
