Responsibilities
Perform chemical, biological, microbiological, and physical laboratory tests in support of wastewater treatment plant operations.Collect samples in accordance with approved sampling procedures and techniques.Analyze, interpret, and accurately record laboratory test results.Prepare and maintain laboratory records, documentation, and reports.Provide accurate laboratory data and interpretation to support operational and treatment-process decisions.Assist with special laboratory projects and testing activities as required.Ensure proper use of laboratory equipment and follow established laboratory techniques and procedures.Report occupational, environmental, safety, security, or quality incidents and non-conformities and support preventive and corrective actions.Comply with all applicable HSE requirements and laboratory safety procedures.Communicate laboratory findings clearly to supervisors and relevant team members.Work regular and/or shift hours according to operational requirements.
Requirements
Saudi Nationality.Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or a related scientific discipline. A Master’s degree is an advantage.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within wastewater treatment, drinking water supply, wastewater treatment plants, or potable water treatment facilities.Proven experience in laboratory testing, sampling, analysis, and reporting.Relevant professional licence or certification, where applicable.Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.Good knowledge of laboratory equipment and laboratory testing techniques.Computer literacy and ability to work with laboratory data and information systems.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to accurate results.Plus:Previous experience in a sewage or wastewater treatment plant laboratory.Familiarity with laboratory information management systems and environmental/water-quality testing.Experience working in an O&M environment and supporting plant operations.Let your career flow with us – dive into a meaningful journey and be part of transforming lives through water. 🌊
