Laboratory Manager

Requirements :Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, or related field (Master's or MBA is a plus)Valid SCFHS registration/classification as Laboratory SpecialistExperience :7+ years in a clinical laboratory, including 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial roleProven experience preparing labs for CBAHI accreditation; CAP or JCI exposure highly preferredHands-on experience across multiple lab disciplines (Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Blood Bank)Demonstrated ownership of a Quality Assurance / Quality Control program, including proficiency testing and corrective action documentationAbility to evaluate and validate new methods, instruments, and vendorsProficiency with LIS and data analysis/reporting toolsStrong grasp of critical/panic value protocols and result verification standardsExperience in laboratory budgeting (revenue, cost, CAPEX) and resource planningCompetency assessment and in-service training program design for testing personnelStaff scheduling, leave planning, and performance evaluationHandling patient, client, and staff complaints professionallyCore Competencies :Strong leadership and team development skillsExcellent communication in Arabic and EnglishPatient-centered mindset and high attention to detailCommitment to continuous professional development
