Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage inpatient phlebotomy/laboratory operations and staff.Ensure compliance with CAP, TJC, CLIA, OSHA, DPH and other regulatory standards.Oversee quality assurance, safety, staffing, budgeting, and performance management.Support laboratory process improvements, equipment maintenance, and technical operations.Provide staff training, competency assessments, and ongoing development.Collaborate with Medical Directors, Operations, Nursing, HR, and other departments.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.3+ years of clinical laboratory experience.ASCP/NCA/AMT/AAB or equivalent certification preferred.Strong knowledge of CAP and Joint Commission requirements.Clinical laboratory supervisory/management experience preferred.Must be able to work on-site and travel between Boston, Brockton, and Brighton.
