This hands-on leader will oversee daily laboratory operations, lead technical personnel, maintain mission-critical test equipment, and support aircraft-system integration, test, and sustainment activities.ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and assign work to laboratory personnelCoordinate laboratory schedules, resources, maintenance, and test-event supportSet up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot avionics, electrical, RF, fiber-optic, simulation, cryptographic, and network equipmentSupport test execution, including pre-test preparation, monitoring, data collection, and documentationManage lab inventory, calibration, maintenance records, supplies, and configuration changesEnsure compliance with security, safety, quality, DoD, and NAVAIR requirementsIdentify and mitigate operational risks affecting personnel, equipment, schedules, and lab availabilityMaintain a safe, organized, mission-ready laboratory environmentRequirementsActive Top Secret security clearance7+ years of experience in aircraft systems testing, laboratory operations, systems integration, or a related fieldExperience leading technical personnel or coordinating teams in an operational, maintenance, laboratory, or test environmentHands-on experience with military aircraft avionics hardware and test equipmentExperience troubleshooting electrical systems and technical equipment safely and effectivelyStrong communication, organization, problem-solving, and prioritization skillsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders as neededPreferred QualificationsP-8 aircraft, PaxSIL, NAVAIR, Naval Aviation, or DoD test-and-evaluation experienceExperience with RF and fiber-optic test equipment, avionics systems, simulation systems, secure communications, or cryptographic equipmentWorking knowledge of Linux, network configuration and troubleshooting, Wireshark, and network protocolsFamiliarity with Navy supply systems, OneTouch, configuration management, and Quality Management System processesRelevant technical, safety, RF, fiber-optic, cryptographic, or hazardous-material certificationsBenefitsAt RMC, we're committed to your career growth! The current salary range for this position will be $115,000 to $125,000 (annually).#IND123,
