Apply & track with Apply EdgeLab Supervisor – Solar EnergyA leading company in the solar energy sector is seeking a Lab Supervisor to lead laboratory operations and inverter repair activities. Reporting to the Technical Support Coordinator, the position is responsible for leading the laboratory team, managing repair priorities and turnaround time, and ensuring technical, quality, and safety standards.The Lab Supervisor will also support customers and partners, coordinate with service teams and Headquarters, oversee equipment failure analysis, and drive continuous improvement of laboratory repair processes.Main Activities and Responsibilities:Lead and develop the laboratory team, coordinating daily activities, workload, performance, and technical development.Manage repair workflow, priorities, and turnaround times, identifying bottlenecks and driving productivity and efficiency improvements.Supervise inverter diagnosis, repair, testing, and final inspection, including root-cause analysis and component replacement.Ensure repair quality, compliance, and traceability according to technical procedures, quality standards, and H&S requirements.Manage CRM cases and Sungrow service platforms, ensuring accurate documentation, follow-up, parts consumption, and status updates.Prepare, review, and sign technical reports, ensuring accurate records of diagnoses, repairs, test results, and equipment condition.Provide technical and customer support through phone, WhatsApp, and email, including escalation and follow-up of complex cases.Collaborate with Technical Support and HQ on recurring failures, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and technical improvements.Drive continuous improvement and standardization of laboratory processes, procedures, tools, and repair methodologies.Monitor laboratory resources, including spare parts, tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring efficient utilization.Report operational performance to management, including workload, repair lead times, critical cases, recurring failures, team performance, and operational challenges.Key Areas of AccountabilityTeam Leadership & DevelopmentLaboratory Operations & Workflow ManagementInverter Diagnosis & RepairQuality & Technical ComplianceCustomer & Technical SupportRoot-Cause Analysis & Continuous ImprovementRepair Documentation & TraceabilityHealth & SafetyCommunication with HeadquartersRepair Lead Time & Operational PerformanceFunction Specific Knowledge:Previous experience in customer support preferable in PV products.Must possess the ability to work with test equipment and hand tools as requiredMust possess customer service, problem-solving skills, and possess decision making and analytical skillsMust possess effective written and verbal communication skillsMust be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, power Point and Outlook)Education and Minimum RequirementsDegree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.Intermediate or higher English proficiency.Spanish proficiency is a plus.Previous experience in the solar energy industry is required.CompetenciesStrong technical problem-solving and analytical skills.Self-motivated and proactive, with strong initiative and excellent communication skills.System- and product-level mindset, with the ability to understand technical issues from a broader perspective.Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to responsibilities.Strong technical support and customer-service orientation.Work Location and EmploymentFull-time position.Osasco, São Paulo – 100% on-site.Compensation and BenefitsCompetitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.Competitive benefits package.Strong opportunities for personal and professional growth within the company.Please upload your CV in english
