Department: Health Applications / ITJob Summary We are seeking a Project Manager – Laboratory Applications to manage the implementation, enhancement, support, and optimisation of laboratory information systems.

The role will focus on Oracle Health/Cerner PathNet applications and will work closely with laboratory, clinical, IT, and vendor teams. Key Responsibilities Manage implementation, enhancement, testing, upgrade, and maintenance activities for PathNet and laboratory applications. Lead clinical process redesign, requirements gathering, planning, testing, and go-live activities. Coordinate laboratory users, clinical teams, IT teams, vendors, steering committees, and super-user groups. Support system configuration, application security, user access, and performance monitoring. Manage software patches, releases, upgrades, and change-control activities. Identify application-design issues and recommend practical solutions. Support interfaces between EMR systems, third-party platforms, and laboratory medical devices. Develop reports, dashboards, extracts, training materials, and standard operating procedures. Ensure compliance with healthcare policies, confidentiality, quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Science, IT, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or related field. Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience in laboratory systems, healthcare IT, or clinical applications. Experience with Oracle Health/Cerner PathNet or equivalent Laboratory Information Systems is preferred. Strong knowledge of laboratory workflows, clinical systems implementation, testing, and application support. Experience managing interfaces with EMR systems, third-party applications, or medical devices. ITIL, CPHIMS, PMP, or PRINCE2 certification is preferred. Excellent communication, stakeholder-management, planning, and problem-solving skills. Arabic language capability and experience in a large healthcare environment are advantageous.
