As we continue to grow, we are excited to expand our team with talented individuals who share our passion for innovation and great flavor!Job SummaryThe Laboratory Technician supports R&D operations by compounding flavor formulations, managing laboratory requests, and maintaining laboratory organization and inventory. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of lab requests, from receipt through formulation, compounding, labeling, and shipment, while ensuring compliance with GMP/GLP requirements. The Laboratory Technician works primarily within the R&D team and communicates as needed with Sales and other internal stakeholders to support project execution.Responsibilities and Duties: Compound formulations as prescribed by flavoristsConduct organoleptic evaluations of new and revised formulations.Maintain and restock the Preferred Product Library (PPL).Oversee laboratory upkeep, including proper storage of glassware and materials.Manage laboratory sample requests and collaborate with flavorists to determine the best method for processing and fulfillment.Coordinate preparation and direct shipment of samples to customers.Adhere to GMP and GLP standards to ensure product quality and personnel safety.Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in a science-based field (e.g., Food Science, Chemistry, Food Technology), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Laboratory and/or culinary science experience preferred.Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to understand science-based materials and perform basic mathematical calculations.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and laboratory computer systems.Willingness to participate in ongoing training to support professional growth and development of flavor formulation skills.
