Job Title: Lab TechnicianPay Rate: $30 to $32/HRDuration: 12 months

Location: Irvine, CAShift: 8 AM - 5 PMOur client is a global industrial and consumer products manufacturer.We are looking for a Lab Technician to support laboratory testing and process-related activities involving adhesive and material products.

This position will conduct established tests and experiments, generate reliable technical data, and assist engineering teams with laboratory-based evaluation. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently in a hands-on lab environment, following documented procedures, and accurately recording and communicating test results. A strong focus on laboratory safety, 5S, data integrity, and consistent execution is essential.Perform laboratory testing on adhesive materials, including paste and film forms.Prepare and conduct experiments using established laboratory procedures and test protocols.Collect, record, organize, and maintain accurate test data.Generate routine test results using applicable standard test methods.Assist engineering and application engineering teams by producing laboratory data needed for technical evaluations.Review experimental results and prepare basic summaries for engineering/project use.Create tables, charts, and other basic data presentations using Microsoft Excel.Document laboratory observations, test conditions, and results clearly and in a traceable manner.Follow established procedures to maintain and preserve experimental data.Maintain an organized laboratory work area using 5S principles.Follow applicable laboratory safety procedures and established safe-working practices.Work with senior technicians and engineers to support ongoing laboratory activities.Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation and communication of results.Maintain a consistent level of accuracy when performing repetitive or standardized testing.Remain actively engaged in a hands-on laboratory environment, including extended periods of standing

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering is preferred.2+ years of relevant process experience.Hands-on professional laboratory experience with testing and data generation.Experience working with adhesives, materials, polymers, films, pastes, or comparable products is strongly preferred.Demonstrated ability to perform testing according to standard methods and established experimental protocols.Experience collecting, recording, summarizing, and communicating technical test data.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Understanding of 5S and safe laboratory practices.Ability to accurately follow written procedures and maintain reliable experimental records.Comfortable working in a hands-on laboratory setting and standing for most of the workday.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technicians and engineers.Strong attention to detail and consistency when performing laboratory testing.Application engineering or engineering-support experience involving laboratory data generation is preferred.
