We are seeking a hands-on Lab Technician to support surgeon education and medical training programs within a growing medical device organization specializing in upper-extremity orthopedic solutions. This role plays a critical part in preparing, coordinating, and supporting cadaver-based training labs used to educate surgeons, fellows, sales representatives, and internal teams on surgical techniques and implant technologies.The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a clinical or laboratory environment. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with healthcare professionals, medical device experts, and education teams while supporting state-of-the-art training events held both domestically and internationally.This is a permanent, onsite position with opportunities for overtime, occasional travel, and participation in weekend training events.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare laboratory spaces, equipment, instruments, and training materials for surgeon education programs and cadaver labs.Assist with the setup, execution, and breakdown of cadaver-based training events and medical education programs.Handle, transport, and manage cadaver specimens in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.Support surgeons, fellows, sales teams, and internal stakeholders during training sessions and educational events.Maintain laboratory organization, cleanliness, inventory, and equipment readiness.Coordinate logistics for training events, including materials preparation and operational support.Assist with shipping, receiving, and tracking medical devices, instruments, and lab supplies.Collaborate with education, marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure successful execution of training programs.Travel occasionally to support educational labs and training events in domestic and international locations.Participate in weekend educational programs and surgeon summits as business needs require.Must-Have QualificationsComfortable working with cadaver specimens in an educational or laboratory setting.Previous experience in a laboratory, healthcare, medical, rehabilitation, hospital, mortuary, anatomy, research, or related environment.Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.Ability to work flexible hours, including approximately 1-2 weekends per month.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow procedures.Nice-to-Have QualificationsExperience supporting medical device, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare organizations.Exposure to anatomy labs, surgical training programs, cadaver labs, or educational events.Experience working with physicians, surgeons, hospital staff, or healthcare providers.Inventory management or laboratory operations experience.Experience handling biological specimens.Previous travel support or event coordination experience.Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Health Sciences, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Anatomy, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
