Frasher Lab values integrity, precision, and clear communication as essential components of high-quality laboratory work.Role Description The Laboratory Technician at Frasher Lab will perform routine and specialized laboratory procedures, including preparing samples, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, and recording test data with high accuracy. Responsibilities include following established protocols, supporting quality control processes, labeling and storing specimens, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area. The technician will assist with documentation, basic data analysis, and inventory management for reagents and supplies, while collaborating with other laboratory staff on day-to-day tasks. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sharjah, requiring consistent presence in the laboratory and adherence to safety and compliance guidelines.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong laboratory skills and prior experience working as a laboratory technician or in a similar role.Candidates should possess hands-on experience with laboratory equipment, including routine maintenance, calibration, and safe operation.Candidates should possess quality control skills, with the ability to follow protocols, document procedures, and verify test accuracy.Candidates should possess analytical skills, including basic data interpretation, problem-solving, and attention to detail.Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in laboratory sciences, biology, chemistry, or a related field.Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and regulatory compliance practices.Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks in a busy lab environment.Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team.Prior experience in a clinical, research, or industrial laboratory in Sharjah or the wider region is an advantage.
