The company is ISO 9001 - 14001 certified and a member of the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC).Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for working on a production line in one of several capacities, including hand‑add station operations, bagging and stacking product, and packaging/storage activities, as required. General line and plant housekeeping is also an essential part of the role.Key Responsibilities:Operate the hand‑add station, including the use of a digital scale to measure materials and ensure compliance with quality standardsBag cement‑based products in accordance with production and quality requirementsPerform manual stacking of product onto pallets and production linesSafely operate a forklift for material handling and storage (where certified/authorized)Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall plant housekeeping standardsWork safely at all times by adhering to company safety policies, including PPE requirements, lock‑out procedures, confined‑space protocols, and safe lifting practicesImmediately report any unsafe conditions, accidents, incidents, or near misses to managementPerform additional duties as assignedWork Environment & Physical Requirements:Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, requiring adaptation to varying temperatures and weather conditionsThe environment is dusty, loud, and industrial in natureHearing protection is required, and appropriate PPE must be worn at all timesRegular handling of cementitious and chemical materials; proper respirator fit and use is requiredThe role involves substantial repetitive physical effort, including the ability to lift up to 30 kgSafely work in and around moving machinery and equipmentSchedule Requirements:Ability to work both day and night shiftsOvertime may be required based on operational needsAdditional Information:Uniform providedQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 1–2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environmentForklift certification considered an assetSelf‑motivated with the ability to perform duties according to established standardsEffective communication with management and team leaders to meet production targets and escalate issues as neededStrong time‑management skills to maintain required production levelsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionValid driver’s licence and reliable personal vehicle required for commuting purposes.
