Land Freight Manager- Sales and Operations

As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced leader to strengthen our Land Freight division.Role Description:This is a full-time, on-site role for a Land Freight Manager – Sales & Operations, based in Dubai, UAE.Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will lead both the commercial and operational performance of the Land Freight division, with full responsibility for business development, operational execution, customer satisfaction, profitability, and team leadership.The role requires a commercially driven leader with the ability to generate sustainable business growth while ensuring the efficient day-to-day management of GCC cross-border land freight operations.Key Responsibilities:Lead the Sales and Operations functions of the Land Freight division.Drive new business acquisition while developing existing customer relationships.Manage the day-to-day execution of GCC land freight and cross-border operations.Assume full P&L responsibility for the Land Freight division.Develop commercial strategies to increase revenue and profitability.Monitor operational performance through KPIs and management reporting.Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team.Manage customer escalations and ensure exceptional service delivery.Build strategic relationships with customers, transport partners, and suppliers.Identify operational improvements that enhance efficiency and profitability.Ensure compliance with applicable transport and customs regulations.QualificationsMinimum 15 years of progressive experience in Freight Forwarding.Minimum 5 years in a managerial role leading both Sales and Operations.Extensive experience in GCC land freight, cross-border transportation, and customs clearance.Strong command in both Arabic and English.Proven record of generating new business and achieving commercial growth.Strong understanding of P&L management and commercial decision-making.Demonstrated leadership experience managing operational teams.Strong negotiation, customer relationship, and communication skills.Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.What we offer:Competitive remuneration package with performance-based incentives.Leadership role reporting directly to executive management.Strong operational and back-office support.Professional, collaborative, and performance-driven working environment.Long-term career development within an established regional logistics organisation.
