You will ensure that all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, survey data, and applicable standards. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in infrastructure projects in Dubai, with sound knowledge of surveying equipment, setting-out procedures, and UAE construction requirements.ResponsibilitiesCarry out all land surveying and setting-out activities for infrastructure and civil works in accordance with approved drawings and project requirements.Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, coordinates, and reference points across the project site.Conduct surveys for roads, utilities, drainage networks, pavements, earthworks, levels, and other infrastructure works.Perform accurate setting-out of alignment, levels, coordinates, slopes, grades, and elevations for construction activities.Operate and maintain surveying equipment including Total Station, GPS/GNSS, Auto Level, and other relevant instruments.Verify contractor works against approved drawings, design coordinates, levels, and project specifications.Review and interpret engineering drawings, survey data, shop drawings, and method statements.Conduct topographical surveys, as-built surveys, and progress surveys as required.Prepare and maintain survey reports, field records, calculations, coordinate lists, and as-built documentation.Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Engineers, Consultants, Contractors, and other project stakeholders regarding surveying requirements.Identify and report discrepancies in coordinates, levels, dimensions, or site conditions and coordinate corrective actions.Ensure all surveying activities comply with Dubai Municipality regulations, project requirements, and applicable UAE standards.Monitor and verify earthwork quantities, excavation levels, formation levels, road profiles, and other infrastructure-related measurements.Assist in resolving technical and surveying issues encountered during construction.Ensure surveying instruments are properly calibrated and maintained, with valid calibration certificates available.Provide accurate survey data and technical support to the construction team to facilitate timely project execution.RequirementsDiploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related discipline.Minimum 5–8 years of experience as a Land Surveyor, preferably with significant experience in infrastructure and civil construction projects.Mandatory experience working on infrastructure projects in Dubai/UAE.Strong experience in roadworks, utilities, drainage, earthworks, paving, and other infrastructure activities.Proficiency in operating Total Station, GPS/GNSS, Auto Level, and other surveying equipment.Strong knowledge of surveying principles, setting-out procedures, coordinate systems, levels, and measurements.Familiarity with Dubai Municipality regulations and UAE infrastructure standards.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, survey drawings, shop drawings, and technical documentation.Experience in preparing as-built surveys, survey reports, and site measurement records.Knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D and relevant surveying software will be an advantage.Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in all surveying activities.Ability to coordinate effectively with Consultants, Contractors, Engineers, and site teams.
